Candlelight: The Best of Joe Hisaishi

You may not recognize his name, but you will know his work! As the celebrated composer for some of Studio Ghibli’s most enchanting animated movies, Joe Hisaishi is a master of the soundtrack using a fusion of European classical, Japanese traditional, ambient electronic and minimalist music to conjure up the wonderful worlds of My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away and more, creating a nostalgic and whimsical sound. Presented by fever, this candlelit concert features a raft of Hisaishi’s best works for Ghibli, played by an accomplished string quartet.
